Chef Jose Garces celebrated the release of his second book, The Latin Road Home, by hosting a special dinner at Amada, his signature restaurant at Revel in Atlantic City (one of the Iron Chef's three dining outlets at Revel). Garces created the evening's menu from recipes in his book, which is a combination memoir, travelogue and cookbook. The dishes represented the distinctly different cuisine of the five Latin countries showcased in the book: Ecuador, Mexico, Spain, Cuba and Peru. Check out this surveillance video and see if you can pick up any clues that will help police apprehend the vandals who trashed the clubhouse last week at the South Jersey Field of Dreams in Absecon. This sweet little baseball field is where physically and mentally disabled children and adults get to play our nation’s pastime. They defaced the building with disgusting spray-painted graffiti and did other damage to the building. Then tune in to The South Jersey Edition today at noon on News Talk 1400 WOND. We’ll talk to Field of Dreams board member Larry McCarty to learn more about the incident and the quick fix that put the field back together in time for an Easter egg hunt this weekend, which will be the prelude to opening day on April 26. It's just a matter of time before someone comes up with a way to attach wagering to the game. (After a few beers at the ballpark, this will gives new meaning to the "relief pitcher" position.)
